![]() ![]() As you read on, I’ll detail some of the key features that made the G900 an attractive choice. I wanted a modern gaming mouse that was equal to or better than what my competition is currently using. Case in point, I’ve seen a significant improvement in my gameplay since I’ve adapted to my new mechanical gaming keyboard for left-handed gaming. Professional-grade peripherals can provide a competitive edge in games like these once you grow into them. These days, I find myself trending toward survival and fast-paced FPS games like Escape from Tarkov, Counter-Strike, PUBG, Battlefield, and Rust. Sticking with a nearly decade-old mouse would surely mean missing out on improved technologies that offer better tracking accuracy, improved consistency in responsiveness, and tons of new features. I retired the Abyssus and opted for the G900 simply because the time was right for an upgrade. Why I made the switch to the G900 Wired/Wireless Gaming Mouse I’m relating things from my perspective as a real consumer making an upgrade from the only great mouse I have ever known (the Abyssus) to the G900. The comparison is unfair but can’t be avoided. I realize this contrast couldn’t be more dramatic. As you read ahead, I will reference my old Razor Abyssus when talking about the G900 in the context of transitioning from one mouse to the other – old to new, entry-level to professional-grade, wired to wireless, Fred Flintstone to Seal Team 6. Here is a link to the Razer Abyssus Essential on Amazon in case you want to check it out. Since I purchased mine back in 2012, the Abyssus has seen a series of refinements and has cool new features that don’t exist in the older models. ![]() I would recommend the Razer Abyssus to anyone (right-handed or left-handed) looking for a simple, reliable, 3-button wired gaming mouse that has proven to be highly durable. That’s an outstanding lifespan for a gaming mouse to say the least. My Razer Abyssus runs as well today as it did when I purchased it nearly seven years ago. I can attest to the fact that the Razer Abyssus is the most reliable, and arguably the best symmetrical entry-level wired gaming mouse I have ever owned. I was using a Razer Abyssus gaming mouse up until I purchased the G900. Cost of using – you should also keep in mind that the software is free to use, and you cannot say anything perfect about the cost of using the Logitech G software.īefore I explain why I chose the G900 and its features, I’d like to pay some respect where it’s due.Possibility to delete profiles- When you create many profiles for one game in Logitech G Hub, it becomes difficult to delete them. ![]()
